Mac Deryng
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Hey, I’m Mac :) I make sure our serviced accommodation business runs like clockwork—creating systems, automating the boring stuff, and keeping everything on track. I also handle marketing, recruitment, and figuring out where we’re headed next.
Before this, I spent 20 years in Wi-Fi, networks, and marketing—safe to say our properties rock the best Wi-Fi on the market ;) I love interior design, photography, and making spaces guests actually want to stay in, while creating long term wealth for my kids.
My priorities? Happy guests, happy investors, and a happy family. In that order (just kidding, honey).
Maggie Deryng
FINANCE DIRECTOR
I handle the finances—taxes, accountancy, compliance—basically, all the things that keep us out of trouble. With 15 years of experience managing corporate finances, I like numbers more than most people.
I also help out with interior design and occasionally remind Mac of everything he’s done wrong. With a baby in one hand and a spreadsheet in the other, I’m always finding ways to stay involved (even if work mostly happens between naps and snack breaks).
Ethan Clayton
ACQUISITIONS DIRECTOR
Hey, I’m Ethan. With seven years in sales and a strong interest in property, I’m focused on building something meaningful. I’ve negotiated hundreds of deals for investors, and now I’m applying that experience to our own business: finding great opportunities, transforming spaces, and creating lasting value.
We take on only a handful of projects at a time to ensure every detail is carefully considered. Outside of work, I’m into fitness, healthy eating, and travel. I’m a massive animal lover and vegan, with one of my long-term goals being to establish an animal sanctuary in the UK.
For me, it’s about growing the business the right way, creating beautiful spaces, and making the most of every opportunity.
Jordan Clayton
PROPERTY MANAGER
Hey, I’m Jordan, your property manager at Zen Stays—your behind-the-scenes guide to a seamless, stress-free stay.
I’m all about Zen (Tao, Vedanta—you name it!) and bring that same calm, effortless approach to hosting. Clear communication, smooth stays, zero stress.
When I’m not managing properties, you’ll find me in the garden, tending to my plants—they’re much better at following house rules.
